About Us
R.M.V. Appraisals is located at 1733 East 4th St., Bklyn., N.Y. 11223 and has been in business since 1995, providing New York City and the surrounding areas with high quality residential and commercial Real Estate appraisals.
All Appraisers at R.M.V. are carefully screened and undergo a minimum of 90 hrs of intensive classroom instruction and months of extensive field training. Additionally all appraisers are assigned to limited areas and specialize in knowing the current trends of values for their respective areas.
All appraisal orders are immediately dispatched to the appropriate appraiser and appointments are generally made within hours of your order. Our appraisers will then inspect the subject property and conduct a complete analysis of all available sales data and compile a detailed appraisal report. After completion all appraisals are then carefully reviewed and undergo a strict checklist to insure trouble free reports.

Our data sources include: Public Records, GeoComps property database, RPT property database, The Redbook (Market Data Center), Various MLS Computerized property databases, N.Y. Times listings and closed sales., a large network of real estate agents and brokers, City Realty.com, County Flood Maps, County zoning maps, various periodicals, industry news letters and online databases.

Mrs. Linda Estrada
Mrs. Linda Estrada is the office manager in charge of tracking all appraisal orders through each stage of our system. She has been involved in office management since 1981 and has been with R.M.V. Appraisals since June of 2000. With over 20 yrs in office and traffic management she is able to provide our clients with a high level of customer service unparalleled in the industry.

Mr. Jesse Skolkin
Mr. Skolkin joined R.M.V. Appraisals as Director of Sales and Marketing in October of 2001 after an 11 yr. career as an Account Executive for Wall Street industry leaders such as Moody’s Investors Service, Standard & Poor’s, Global Securities Information, and Multex.com. With his vast experience in sales and customer relations he has a keen eye for each clients particular needs. Mr. Skolkin prides himself with being able to tailor client services to maximize efficiency and client satisfaction.

Mr. Joseph Carone
Mr. Carone has been with R.M.V. Appraisals since February 2000 and has been involved in the Real Estate industry since 1998. Mr. Carone is responsible for overseeing staff training, evaluations and other staffing issues. Mr. Carone is highly adept at providing an exacting and detailed level of training to our staff, and accepts nothing less then excellence.

Mr. Anthony Benanti
R.M.V. Appraisals is owned and operated by Mr. Anthony Benanti
After a tour in the United States Air Force maintaining B-52 Nuclear Bombers from 1981-1984, Mr. Benanti became involved in Real Estate in 1986 and obtained his Real Estate agents license. He has been a practicing Real Estate appraiser in the New York City area since 1991 and obtained his New York State Certified Appraisers license in 1993. Mr. Benanti has completed thousands of appraisals, reviews, and feasibility studies and has also testified as an expert witness.
Additionally Mr. Benanti has been an appraisal instructor at the New York Real Estate Institute since 1998. Working as an appraisal instructor Mr. Benanti is at the leading edge of the appraisal industry and is current with all updates of Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and FHA Guidelines.
